Ebony’s new song ‘ Maame Hw3’ speaks against abusive relationships and touches on the harsh treatments people suffer in such relationships.
As usual, Ebony couldn’t sing the song without playing with words and hence one is likely to pronounce ‘Maame Hw3’ as ‘Maame Tw3’ but when you listen to the song and watch the music video, you realize, it’s got nothing to do with that word.
Recently, Ghbase.com published a blog about gospel musician Celestine Donkor trying to put sense in the coconut of Ebony, budding dance hall artist, in regards to her erotic stage outfit. On the other side, the gospel musicians in a recent interview has revealed that she has put a permanent stop to local artistes collaboration and featuring since she desire to push her brand on the international front.
She made the aforementioned statement when she made an appearance on Kessben TV show dubbed “Around Town Entertainment” hosted by QuooFante. In the interview, Celestine Donkor made it clear that her failure to collaborate with local gospel musicians is strictly personal and born out of her eagerness to get international recognition.
“Off late, I have decided not to feature or collaborate with local artistes. There are instances I’ve rejected collaboration offer from top musicians in the country. It’s because of brand direction which has shifted from local to international. Fact, I’m interested in featuring and doing collaborations with South Africa, Nigeria, others, gospel artistes as compared to the local ones”, she stated.
Truly, if you’re an ardent follower of Celestine Donkor, you could see that she has been doing some collaborations with South African artistes. This confirms her assertion. Well, let us hope her international dream will be manifested for all eyes to see because everybody got choices in life.
